VOICE

[there's silence for a few moments, and then a low growl that filters into the words that follow]

How hard is it supposed to be to find a doctor in a damn hospital? Huh?!

[another silence]

I wanna talk to one. Right now.

[click.]

[OOC: Kicked it on the 14th (please note that it was an offscreen death and thus probably not explicitly known to anyone, though you may or may not have noticed his extended absence), recently revived, stalking the hospital like a thundercloud. Feel free to poke him, but he'll probably be even more snappish than usual, whoops.

Any interested doctors please ping here!]

So? Why wouldn't they?? [And he merrily ignores; it's practically second-nature to ignore most voices of caution by now.]

...I suppose that it's possible, it just seems unlikely. [Sigh. Why does he even bother]

Unlikely how? You still don't have a reason. [Man, he thought you were the mostly sane guy who didn't talk in riddles.]

Well, this is one weird dime--

[DO NORA'S EYES DECEIVE HIM? WHY IS THERE A REINDEER....]

... HEY! YOU!!

[...Is that a walking reindeer?]

... [He'll let Nora do the shouting for now]

[Chopper froze immediately, the shouting taking him surprise and out of habit he scrambled to find a hiding spot.

So he hid up against the doorway he'd just walked out of. Icon is very relevant to how he is hiding.

Wh-what?

[... It talks, too. Now Nora's not sure if it's a monster or some other weird freak of nature -- like that bird.

Either way, it seems to be trying to get away somehow (however lamely), so here's Nora stomping up to cut off your escape route.]

What're you and what're you doing here?

[LOOM.]

[He stands next to Nora, feeling somewhat ridiculous about interrogating a reindeer of all people]

....Answer his questions. [...Who knows, maybe the reindeer might know something]

[Not as planned. Chopper looked at both of them frantically, trying to figure out why he was being put in such a worrying position, but he stayed as calm as he could. Swallowing hard, he raised a hoof to point at his antlers.]

It's obvious, isn't it? I'm a reindeer! And I'm a doctor, so of course I'd be here!

[Well, at least Kresnik's being helpful! In a way.

Of course, everything else kind of goes out the window at the word 'doctor'...]

... You're a doctor?! We've been looking for one for way too long -- you don't look like one at all, no wonder it's so hard to find you guys.

[... Mostly. The grumbling is always with you.

Also have a boy demon poking at your antlers.]

We want our chips removed.

[Chopper smacks the wandering hand soon enough.]

Don't do that, oi! That's rude!

[He calms down at the mention of the chips though.]

Oh. That's why this guy was so noisy. ['This guy' being Nora. :|] I can remove them for both of you.

[Action] aaa sorry for delay

'Tch--

[It's not like Nora would just let that go, but suddenly there's more important things on the table.

... You're getting an odd look, though, Chopper.]

'Course I'm noisy, how else would I find a doctor?? And it worked!

But... you'd take 'em out just like that?

[There's some quick adjustments to his hat as he talks.]

Instead of yelling, you just could have found someone and asked where the doctors were to talk to them. But yes, I can remove them for both of you. It's not like it's just gone and that's it but it's pretty simple for someone like me.

That was finding someone.

[Have a shrug -- this is how Nora operates!]

--Just like that, huh. [He's not really one to question a gift horse for very long, so Nora's just looking thoughtful now.] How soon can you?

[Well obviously he's not in the vicinity of the smartest person in the world, so Chopper's not even going to bother with you there Nora.]

I can easily do it today, but I need to know what you two have been told about the effects afterward. Mainly the temporary sickness and loss of control of your abilities, that is if you have any.

[He crosses his arms and puffs up his chest -- the picture of (over)confidence.]

'Course I know all about that! You get sick and your powers go crazy, and then the whole city gets dragged in. Except that's not gonna happen 'cause I'll just get out of here for a while. I know where to go.

[More focused staring at Nora. Somehow that doesn't make him confident that there wont' be problems.]

You've got to tell me what exactly you can do. Just because you won't be near the city doesn't mean that you and everyone else will automatically be safe.

[.... He was afraid of that. But, well... it's not something he's going to lie about (because A. He just won't, and B. He's dumb). Besides, Cerberus isn't exactly something that's going to be easy to keep under wraps.

To be quite honest, there's still a very small part of him that doesn't want to do this, but it's a very small and overruled part.

So, grudgingly:]

I'll tell you. But he can go first, it'll be faster.

[Nobody's avoiding the subject, okay.]
