VOICE

[there's silence for a few moments, and then a low growl that filters into the words that follow]

How hard is it supposed to be to find a doctor in a damn hospital? Huh?!

[another silence]

I wanna talk to one. Right now.

[click.]

[OOC: Kicked it on the 14th (please note that it was an offscreen death and thus probably not explicitly known to anyone, though you may or may not have noticed his extended absence), recently revived, stalking the hospital like a thundercloud. Feel free to poke him, but he'll probably be even more snappish than usual, whoops.

Any interested doctors please ping here!]

[Chopper smacks the wandering hand soon enough.]

Don't do that, oi! That's rude!

[He calms down at the mention of the chips though.]

Oh. That's why this guy was so noisy. ['This guy' being Nora. :|] I can remove them for both of you.

[Action] aaa sorry for delay

'Tch--

[It's not like Nora would just let that go, but suddenly there's more important things on the table.

... You're getting an odd look, though, Chopper.]

'Course I'm noisy, how else would I find a doctor?? And it worked!

But... you'd take 'em out just like that?

[Kresnik also seemed surprised at the offer]

...We would appreciate it if you did.

[There's some quick adjustments to his hat as he talks.]

Instead of yelling, you just could have found someone and asked where the doctors were to talk to them. But yes, I can remove them for both of you. It's not like it's just gone and that's it but it's pretty simple for someone like me.

That was finding someone.

[Have a shrug -- this is how Nora operates!]

--Just like that, huh. [He's not really one to question a gift horse for very long, so Nora's just looking thoughtful now.] How soon can you?

[This is going better than he really expected]

...We would be grateful if ours are removed as soon as possible.

[Well obviously he's not in the vicinity of the smartest person in the world, so Chopper's not even going to bother with you there Nora.]

I can easily do it today, but I need to know what you two have been told about the effects afterward. Mainly the temporary sickness and loss of control of your abilities, that is if you have any.

[He crosses his arms and puffs up his chest -- the picture of (over)confidence.]

'Course I know all about that! You get sick and your powers go crazy, and then the whole city gets dragged in. Except that's not gonna happen 'cause I'll just get out of here for a while. I know where to go.

[He nods]

We've been informed of the possible side effects in having our chip being removed.

[More focused staring at Nora. Somehow that doesn't make him confident that there wont' be problems.]

You've got to tell me what exactly you can do. Just because you won't be near the city doesn't mean that you and everyone else will automatically be safe.

[.... He was afraid of that. But, well... it's not something he's going to lie about (because A. He just won't, and B. He's dumb). Besides, Cerberus isn't exactly something that's going to be easy to keep under wraps.

To be quite honest, there's still a very small part of him that doesn't want to do this, but it's a very small and overruled part.

So, grudgingly:]

I'll tell you. But he can go first, it'll be faster.

[Nobody's avoiding the subject, okay.]

[Him first? ...Alright]

...Besides two support skills that involve healing and boosting speed and defense, I'll be able to form a large gun from my bloodstream due to nanomachines.

[There was a short nod as Chopper focused his attention on Kresnik, perking up at the knowledge of the healing abilities... which led to absolute speechlessness at everything else.]

R-Really?! You can make a gun from your own blood! Uwoa--! So cooool. ah, but you've got to be really careful with that then! I'll keep an eye on you!

[He already knew about the gun and stuff, of course, but...]

Nano.. machines? You're like a computer??

...No, the nanomachines swarm through my blood.

[Something tells him that this will be interesting.]

What are nanomachines?

From: [identity profile] failhound.livejournal.com
[Yeah, have a bit of a blank look.]

But they're... tiny computers! [Have him squishing his fingers together and peering through the nonexistent gap, presumably trying to demonstrate a NANO!machine.] So you're like the whatchamacallit. Cyclops?

[Let it never be said that Nora isn't creative while trying to recall his vocabulary.]

...Nanomachines are machines that cannot be seen by the human eye.

[...]

A cyclops is a being with one eye, Nora. It's a cyborg that you're attempting to reference to... but no, I don't consider myself one.

[Chopper doesn't exactly get it either but it sounds cool, and that's all that matters.]

Oooh. I know what a cyborg is! The shipwright in my crew is one! His name's Franky! He's really awesome, especially when you switch the cola in his stomach! That was a lot of fun!

[Action]

From: [identity profile] failhound.livejournal.com
That's what I said! [Nora must always be right, because he is really all of about five years old!] So if you're not a cyborg then what are you??

[He also blinks at Chopper a bit -- the little guy goes pretty fast from hiding like a mouse to chattering like crazy...]

An' machines can't drink soda.

I consider myself a genetically enhanced human.

From: [identity profile] bokuwadoctaaa.livejournal.com
But he's not a machine, he's a cybrog like I said. He's like him-- [There's a hoof pointed in Kresnik's direction.] but there's parts of him that aren't like a normal human person's body. He has modifications, like a fridge in his stomach. And he runs on cola. I don't know why, but that's how he designed himself.

But you've got machines in you. [He may or may not have his own ideas of what genetically enhanced humans are.]

[Annnnd blankly--] ... If he's got a fridge in his stomach, where's the cola go?

[There's some more awed staring... and then he decides to walk up to Kresnik's leg and just sort of, pat away at him. As if that's enough to help him know that, yes, there are machines inside him.]

Cool. But I don't know where the cola goes. You'd have to ask him, but he's not here.
