Then some familiar laughter.

The lightning takes a detour and strikes a stop light nearest Nora before disappearing. Finally, Shinkohyo reveals himself with a smile]

[Startled half out of his skin (he'd been all sneaky and everything! So very sneaky!), Nora lets out something like a startled yelp and pretty much falls over on his ass -- sneak attacks he's rather used to, but sudden lightning out of a clear sky? Not so much.

Not lately, anyway.]

What the fu...!

[Of course, once the voice comes in, everything snaps straight into place at the same time that he jerks to his feet -- death glare firmly in place.] YOU!! I should've known -- back for more, huh?!

[And without further preamble he runs straight in, intent on taking you out before you can summon another thunder spell or whatever the hell that was.]

[So he thinks. Perona floats down behind Nora with one palm facing his back. Right when Nora charged, Perona shoots out a ghost passing through his body and away. Negative Hollows (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YP0jCjhVTko&feature=related); breaks the person into depression.]

[He merely stands there, his ice cream cone crackling with the sound of electricity]

[Because she ambushed him from the back, Nora literally has no idea what hit him this time -- one moment he's in full gear and the next he's stumbling to his knees while the dark tide in his head rises severalfold, the whispering and snickering becoming growls and cackles. Cerberus knows all his negatives.

As if his day weren't already shitty enough.]

[Perona laughs behind Nora. She did it! After breaking Nora's spirit, Perona drifts over Nora and back to Shinkhoyo's side levitating. The negative effect it's only a moment. Perona nods at Shinkhoyo's response.]

Much better than this guy's.

[He withdraws the ice-cream cone for a moment, looking down at the hound in his dismay]

Oh, I could attack now, but I wonder what is going through his mind right now. Do you think he is regretting the act of insulting my face?

[He holds out his paopei cone once more, it starting to light up again]

What's wrong, Nora? Cat have your tongue?

[When Nora raises his head again, in a more menacing crouch instead of flat-fallen on hands and knees -- both his eyes are gold; his teeth bared. Despite everything going on in his head and out of it he's registered enough of the conversation to understand that he's being double teamed.]

[He's not particularly pleased with this, or the ambush, and he turns his glare on the culprits with a vengeance as he pushes to his feet and goes after Perona, who is potentially more dangerous with whatever she had just done, and also closer.

And almost as an afterthought--]

[Perona remains calm when Nora's rage increases. People with blunt heads are easy readers. She floats still waiting for Nora to charge head on. Just as Nora comes in close, Perona somersaults over his head then to the air. Now it's like a game of cat and mouse.]

[Crackle goes the Raikouben after Nora's comment but it doesn't summon lightning like it's supposed to. Shinkohyo looks at it for a moment or two, even shakes it. Suddenly, it decides to spout a large stream from it's tassels, just missing the doushi's face. Lightning shoots high into the sky and rains down all around them, hitting buildings, poles, and everything in between.

Just as soon as it started, it stops again]

I must not be the only one offended.

... DON'T THINK YOU CAN PULL THAT ONE AGAIN!!

[Thanks to demonic reflexes and the fact that he already knows the pink version of creepyeyes plays dirty, Nora's already whirling around by the time he registers Perona's disappearance.

The problem is that this puts his back to the clown version, on top of the fact that the Raikouben manages to put several strokes of lightning between him and his target.]

Damn it! I don't care if you have a new friend or whatever, I'll just stomp you into the ground again, you stupid ugly clown!

[The next moment his pitchfork is heading straight for Shinkohyo, having been flung over his shoulder, while he attempts to pounce Perona to the ground.]

[Perona laughs watching the demon bark. Not long though until her laugh cuts off seeing the lightnings scattering around them. Of course the lighting wouldn't hurt her but still...

Then here comes Nora. As he pounces towards her, Perona follows his movements backwards looking like the dog will succeed. Right when he is on the ground, Perona will sink half way into the street and shoot an arm through Nora's chest as if she is piercing him. Now she can only wait for his reaction.]

[Seeing the dog demon all riled up only made Shinkohyo smile. Another insult only meant more harm was to come. The flying pitchfork was quite a surprise, but nothing to keep Shinkohyo standing in awe. It was just a pitchfork. Quickly sidestepping, which looks a little like tripping on his clothes, the clown swings at the pitchfork with his ice cream cone. The clang sends the forked weapon spinning into the ground.

From there he watches Nora and how he'll react to the Hollow Queen]

How rude after we came all this way just to play with you.

[There's no real time to check on how the distraction on Shinkohyo's side went, since next moment Nora finds himself face-to-face with Perona -- at ground level. He blinks for a moment, nonplussed.]

You--

[Belatedly he registers the odd sensation in his torso and slowly looks downwards.]

WHAT-- Y-You!! Ya damn cheater! [Annnd he's scrambling backwards 'off' her arm, patting himself down for any aftereffects; it doesn't seem to have quite the punch the initial attack did.]
